Jacob & Charlotte
9th November 2024 | Ashridge House, Hertfordshire
Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Hertfordshire, Ashridge House is a perfect venue amongst a stunning estate. The 19th-century Gothic-style mansion, surrounded by lush, manicured gardens, was the perfect backdrop for Jacob & Charlottes wedding day.
The couple exchanged their vows on the amazing staircase, its towering columns and intricate detailing exuding timeless elegance. Soft, romantic lighting bathed the room and the floral staircase was perfectly styled to compliment this beautiful centrepiece. Charlotte walked down the aisle arm-in-arm with her father, the delicate flowers on her dress and her draping vowel down the stairs was just so beautiful to witness and jaw droppingly beautiful
Following the ceremony, the reception took place in the grand, light-filled Dining Hall. Its high ceilings, magnificent stained glass windows, and elegant chandeliers provided the perfect atmosphere for the evening’s celebrations. Guests were welcomed with glasses of Champagne and an array of gourmet canapés, setting the tone for the luxurious evening to come.
The tables were adorned with lush florals — a mix of soft pink pinks, white roses, hydrangeas and rich greenery — arranged in stunning centerpieces and flower archways. Elegant candlelight flickered, creating a warm, romantic glow. The evening unfolded with laughter, music, and dancing alongside a champagne tower and a cocktail hour. A live band serenaded guests and the dance floor was filled with joy as everyone celebrated Jacob and Charlotte.
Jacob and Charlotte’s wedding at Ashridge House was a true reflection of elegance, romance, and luxury on a perfect day in November. A highlight for me was the Autumnal feel within the venue and its surroundings made it a perfect back drop for their couple portraits.
